InterConsult Bulgaria (ICB) is one of the five Bulgarian companies included in the famous ranking Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for Central Europe, where ICB is ranked 34th, having a growth of 447%. Further, ICB has been ranked in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA 2009 rankings, which recognizes the 500 fastest-growing technology companies across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) based on percentage revenue growth over a five year period.
The Awarding Ceremony for Technology Fast 50 was held on 23 October at Deloitte Sofia office. The Chairman of the Board of Deloitte Mr. Iliyan Vasilev bestowed the prize to Mr. Atanas Golev, Technical Director and partner at ICB. “In ICB we have always valued innovativeness and we have always adopted an individual approach to every customer and project. We have a team of excellent professionals who contributed to achieving our place among the fastest developing companies on the market.”
ICB is a company with lasting traditions and experience in software and consulting, having a track record of numerous successful projects on the Bulgarian and international market. Among the ICB achievements are:
• A nomination for 2008 IT project of the year by ComputerWorld for the development of the main information system of the Cash Service Company, managing 2 billion BGN monthly;
• Development of EASY SAFE, a software system for management of cash transactions, which is used by 80% of the banks in Norway;
• Development of DOC TOOLS, a software solution for documentation generation at Kongsberg Maritime, leading to 30 times reduction of documentation creation expenditure;
• Participation in the development of a software simulator POLARIS, which is used by organizations such as NATO Naval Academy, Maersk, etc.;
• ICB is the first Bulgarian company awarded with the prestigious European IT prize for the development of the environmental monitoring system ENSIS.
