ICB among the finalists of the European IT Excellence Awards

ICB - Interconsult Bulgaria has received another prestigious European recognition in the field of IT. ICB has been ranked among the finalists for the European IT Excellence Awards with two of its solutions - Safe Cash, designed for DKU and ENGI Tools, developed for the Norwegian company Kongsberg Maritime. The winners in the specific categories will be announced at an official ceremony on 25 February in London.
Safe Cash is the main DKU information system that supports all activities related to registration and management of valuable consignments of the commercial banks, which are clients of DKU. Software system currently manages nearly 2 billion euro in cash per month, providing complete traceability, control and accountability for the movement of money.
ENGI Tools is a radical software solution for generating and managing complex project documentation, leading to 30-fold reduction in cost by savings of around 50 million euros a year for the Norwegian company Kongsberg Maritime AS.
European IT Excellence awards are given to companies in recognition of their proven success in customer solutions in the field of IT across Europe. The nominations are in three separate categories-for companies engaged in the sale and implementation of software, for companies incorporating software solutions for clients and for companies providing products and services to its partners, helping their business.
Other awards, for which ICB may be praised in the past year are the two awards for the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and Technology Fast 500, the nomination for IT Project of the Year magazine, ComputerWorld, and participation among the 40 EU IT companies selected to present European IT sector of the European business mission to Japan.
